If you’re looking for high-powered Rock N Roll with a blues edge, The Bryan Michael Fischer Band is the band for you! Taking cues from multiple genres and artists, the BMF Band brings an energetic, engaging show to any stage. With a song list that includes selections from The Allman Brothers, John Mayer, Stevie Wonder, Stevie Ray Vaughan, The Derek Trucks Band, and Ray Charles to name a few, as well as BMF Band genre-crossing originals, there’s something for everyone and every age in their show. Since late-2010, this band has been stunning audiences with their no-holds-barred approach to playing music. Each song is filled with passion, intensity and power, and delivered with a full-throttle punch, no matter what size the crowd.
Bryan Michael Fischer, a seasoned veteran of stages big and small, creates a concert experience at every show, whether there’s a crowd of five or five hundred. Bryan has a larger-than-life personality, a huge voice, and charming personality. He’s been described as “a talker” (he loves to tell stories and interact with the crowd at any given moment), and people have said he commandis the crowd’s attention, rather than demanding it. His style is a mix of his Rock N Roll heroes such as Steven Tyler and Bob Seger, as well blues and soul legends like Stevie Ray Vaughan and Ray Charles, all while maintaining a style that is uniquely his own. Bryan’s vocal style has been compared to the likes of David Clayton Thomas of Blood Sweat and Tears, and one fan says, “It’s like Stevie Ray and Etta James had a baby!”
Bryan Michael’s partners on this musical journey make up the BMF Band. Bryan’s “Right Hand Man” is bassist Bill LaValley. Billy keeps the low end thumping and is one half of the BMF Band’s rock-solid rhythm section. The other half of the foundation that the band rests on is Eric Busch on drums. Eric brings a snap and pop to the band’s sound with a funky feel. Guitar duties are handled expertly by Bryan Blowers. Just into his twenties, Bryan plays like a musician with twice his years’ worth of experience. Tom Eldred completes the band’s sound with his classic Hammond B3 organ. A fan of all things analog, Tom plays vintage keyboards for a pure and earthy sound. At any given time, these outstanding musicians can bring a familiar tune into uncharted territory with their skillful improvisation. Bryan Michael is more than happy to follow and at times lead down these paths, bringing lyrics from other tunes into the one being played. As Stevie Ray once said, they never play a song the same way once, let alone twice.
This is one big, bad band!
